Taylor, Robert, 1763-1845
Robert Taylor (1763-1845) was a lawyer and plantation owner in Orange Court House, Va. He held several local offices; was a member of the Virginia Senate from 1804 to 1815, and served as president pro tempore; and was a member of the Nineteenth Congress from 1825 to 1827.
