They concern strategy, supply, the advance across Pennsylvania, colonial cooperation, provisioning of the troops, Indian negotiations and relations with British and colonial officers. Material is present from other British campaigns in the French and Indian war, particularly the assault at Ft. Ticonderoga, the massacre at Ft. William Henry, the siege of Louisburg, and Braddock's defeat which is described in the letterbook of Sir John St.Clair, the highest ranking officer to survive. University of Virginia.
