Additionally, the filmmaker tapes the participants and produces a mini-documentary entitled Names, Not Numbers: A Movie in the Making. The collection consists of the films produced by students at the various participant schools, as well as the filmmakers' mini-documentaries. Interviewees have included Anti-Defamation League National Director Abraham Foxman, educators/writers Yaffa Eliach and Moshe Avital, and Yeshiva University Chancellor Norman Lamm. Program participants have included Holocaust scholar Michael Berenbaum, Jewish Week publisher Gary Rosenblatt, and New York Times reporter Joseph Berger.
