Complaining forcefully and at length about something Oettinger published about Truhn in his journal, saying that whoever suggested that Truhn acted in any way unworthily towards Oettinger is an infamous scoundrel and a liar, that the suggestion that Truhn made his name through self-praise amounts to a lie and libel, saying that he has known Oettinger as the Redacteur of Eulenspiegel, [Berliner] Figaro, Argus, Gasthofzeitung, Charivari and asking if he has ever given Oettinger to think Truhn praised himself in those journals, mentioning Laube, Haller, Kunkel, Escudier, Maurice Schlesinger, Gaillard, and other persons. etc.
