The collection includes correspondence with dealers, collectors, museums, libraries, and government departments; photographs of pottery, marks, and people associated with art potteries; a videotape; postcards; newspaper and magazine articles, many of which are copies of articles that appeared at the time the pottery was being made; advertisements and trade catalogs; pamphlets; announcements of exhibits; and other materials relating to different art potteries and the people associated with them. Included with the correspondence are some letters with children of potters and copies of letters from the Charles F. Binns collection at Alfred University.
