Marchy, Charles Town, John Rathbone, Gideon Lee, Walter Bowne, John Morss, et al., including a 46-page article on the propriety of altering the city government; minutes of the New York court of general sessions, 1821-1822; complaints against taverns in New York City, 1822; minutes of the Common Council of New York, 1822-1823; letterbook, 1825, containing copies of letters pertaining to the building of Sing Sing Prison, mostly to George Tibbets, Samuel M. Hopkins, and Elam Lynds; a narrative on the New York water works, 1848, in 3 volumes; and newspaper clippings in 3 volumes relating to the 1819 court minutes, opposition to Croton Aqueduct, and the Board of Health. </abstract>
