After the war, there are scattered entries, written mostly while living in Georgia, chiefly concerning family matters. One of the diary volumes includes miscellaneous accounts of William Morrill Wadley in Georgia, 1849-1850. Miscellaneous papers include three items relating to the Ladies' Aid Society of Monroe during the Civil War; a letter, 1869, from Sarah Wadley to her mother, Rebecca, describing a meeting with Robert E. Louisiana State University, LSU LibrariesNatchez Trace railroad collection, 1837-1913.Natchez Trace railroad collection, 1837-1913.4.5 in.Receipts, legal documents, bills of lading, certificates, promissory notes, payment summaries, checks, maps, charts and blueprints document railroad companies operating primarily in Mississippi and Louisiana between 1837 and 1913. While the bulk of the records relate to railroad transportation of people and goods, some identify freight steamboats and document the transfer of cotton and other goods to and from railroad depots. Most of the legal documents are proposed amendments to railroad company charters, although some deal with claims against individuals for delinquent payments to railroad companies. most railroad companies are represented by only a small number of documents in this collection.
