Much of the correspondence details the social and emotional life of the writer and there is considerable discussion of American politics. Several letters to and from Helen Howe are on audiotape (shelved separately as T-64). Also included are letters from C.G. Jung, Bancroft's wartime reports to Allen Dulles and background printed material, and her translation of a memoir by Emilio Pucci.
