Series II is a collection of drawings of Roman and early British antiquities, which was apparently compiled during the first years of the Archaeological Institute of Great Britain and Ireland circa 1844 to 1867. Series III consists of miscellaneous drawings and a photograph from Fleming's collection, mostly of unknown significance. Series IV consists of three letters to or from members of the Lysons family.

This collection consists of 62 letters from Hester Lynch Piozzi: 16 letters to Daniel Lysons, and 47 letters to Samuel Lysons. The early letters to Samuel Lysons from 1784 to 1787 are particularly noteworthy, as they were written while Piozzi was traveling in Italy and relying on his assistance with her Anecdotes of the Late Samuel Johnson, LL.D. (1786) and Letters to and from the Late Samuel Johnson, LL.D., (1788). Other letters are largely social in nature, and written mostly from Piozzi's homes in Streatham Park near London; Bath, England; and Brynbella near Denbigh, Wales.

The collection consists of material gathered by Lindsay Fleming in the course of his research on the life and work of Samuel Lysons, and includes correspondence with scholars and Lyson family descendants; transcripts of portions of Lysons's diary and his letters to Hester Thrale Piozzi; the typsecript of Fleming's "Memoirs and Select Letters of Samuel Lysons"; photographs; and letters to and from Daniel and Samuel Lysons. The correspondence of Daniel Lysons mainly concerns his topographical studies; the correspondence of Samuel Lysons documents his antiquarian interests and his work as Keeper of the Records. Correspondents include William Coxe, Sir Thomas Lawrence, Thomas Penrose, and Wilfred Merton.
