Ellis Kohs interviews Clara Steuermann and Leonard Stein regarding Schoenberg's relationship with Stokowski and performances of Schoenberg's piano concerto. Leonard Stein and Edward Steuermann performed the concerto on two pianos in 1943 at the home of Mrs. Gus Kahn, with Schoenberg, Stokowski, Alma Mahler, and Bronislaw Kaper present. Stein mentions the benefit Stokowski gave for Polish Relief at which Schoenberg was honored, and discusses a Fanfare Schoenberg wrote and dedicated to Stokowski in 1945 which apparently was not completed. They also mention Rose Bampton, Louis Krasner, Hans Heinsheimer, Fritz Jahoda, and the Arnold Schoenberg Institute.
