The volume also contains numerous legal documents, especially land deeds and numerous court cases, including a summary of the sequestered estate of John Paulet, earl of Winchester; copy of a debtor's court case; and the case of John Frederick, concerning the frigate Anne, "bought of the Comissioner for prize goods at Plymouth."

On leaf 1v, a receipt dated the xxxth of Dec: 1652 and signed by William Stanbridge, acknowledging receipt of the sum specified in the warrant from Fauconberge "for the use of the within named Deniyell Manby."
