The collection contains materials related to the Kaufmans' personal lives and professional careers. Nineteen scrapbooks compiled by the Kaufmans document their professional music activities. The photographs include publicity shots and candid photographs of Louis and Annette Kaufman and photographs of their friends and colleagues from the music world. The collection also includes publicity posters, an award, and a bronze bust of Ernst Toch.
