The collection includes five original pen and ink drawings by Bond for William Lightfoot Visscher's book, Black Mammy, A Song of the Sunny South, published in 1885, the first book of poetry printed in Wyoming. Each drawing illustrates a scene of comfort from the old American South; also includes an autograph card with Bond's signature, dated January 1880.

Included are two letters (1903, 1904) from J. H. Fimple and Frank Bond of the U.S. General Land Office to O. D. Wheeler; a report (14 p., undated) entitled, "Louisiana Purchase Progress Maps of the United States"; and two letters (1904) from Nathaniel P. Langford to Fimple and Bond at the General Land Office concerning boundaries shown on the maps.
