The building program for the town is discussed and architectural concerns are noted. The renting and selling of residential properties to Textile Machine Works employees are described.

The collection includes technical and piece rate notebooks, the mill diaries of Hellmuth Wink, correspondence, publications, news clippings, minute books, and court briefs. In addition to the microfilm, the collection includes stereographs, a viewer, and associated negatives and prints.
