Transcripts and correspondence documenting four complaints brought before the board seeking action against either an accounting firm or an individual accountant. The four complaints resulted in a ruling by the Attorney General in 1933 that the board had no authority to reprimand accounting firms (Silberstein and Bondy Company against Sandahl, Pearson and Company, 1931-1933), in the board's support of a previous legal judgment (F. H. Hollady and Company against H. C. Utley and Arnold Gronvall, 1940-1941), and in the revocation of two individuals' certificates, on the grounds of criminal action (Harry E. McGinty, Jr., 1957-1960) and unprofessional conduct (Attorney General against J. G. Zimmerman, 1960).
