A scrapbook of articles dealing with amateur baseball teams playing for the Louisville City League Baseball Association in the 1890s. The majority of the articles deal with the Louisville Mutuals team and their games against teams from other cities. The Nashville Maroons from Tennessee and the Huntsville Club of Huntsville, Alabama baseball teams were two of their main opponents as covered in the newspaper articles. There is also an article about Barney Dreyfuss becoming the Louisville City League's president and several pieces about the death of Will Lewers, an amateur pitcher in Louisville.
