Also, files regarding Diver's employment at Cornell University Library starting in Olin Library in 1969 as fulfillment of his military service obligations as a conscientious objector, followed by work at the Mann Reserve Desk, 1974-1984, and his service on the University Senate, beginning in 1975. Also, handouts relating to Cornell Library acquisitions of gay and lesbian books and journals, 1980; letters about the New York State Task Force on Gay Issues, 1984; and correspondence relating to Cornell library card privileges for domestic partners. Includes responses on gay issues from New York State congressperson and a 1984 CUGALA (Cornell University Gay and Lesbian Alumni Association) letter. Lastly, a 1975 letter from Micahel A. Shell, Administrative Secretary, Uris Library, to Library staff about pending New York State gay rights legislation.
