Raguet (1824-1862), and James Condy Raguet (1822-1868), and bills, receipts, and other materials, relating to Susan Wroe Edwards Thorn (1800-1891), and her husbands, Frost Thorn (1793-1854) and James F. Thorn (d. 1876).

Raguet Family Papers Col 1695., 1835-1918

Title: Raguet Family Papers 1835-1918

Henry Raguet (1796-1877), a Pennsylvania native, came to Texas in 1833, operating a mercantile business in Nacogdoches and engaging in land transactions. Following his retirement, two of his eight children, Henry W. Raguet (1824-1862) and Charles M. Raguet (1832-1903), continued in the family business. The collection contains correspondence, legal documents, financial documents, and printed material associated with several family members.
