Charles E. Little papers, 1975-1990 [manuscript]
The Charles E. Little papers consist of research files and background materials assembled by Little as he prepared to write Greenways for America, which was commissioned by the Conservation Fund of Washington, D. This collection documents greenways across the United States, including materials on greenways, parkways, rivers, streams, and related environmental and conservation matters. It includes correspondence, news clippings, plans, proposals, assessments, reports, maps, and videocassette tapes. The Chapter Files contain the drafts of Greenways for America; the Greenways and Trails Files contain information on greenways and trails in Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Wisconsin, Washington, and West Virginia. The Publications Files contain books about greenways and trails, assessments, and government publications.
