Manuscript, in a single hand, of a journal of the proceedings of the House of Commons in 1660. Much of the manuscript is given to recording the proceedings related to the restoration of King Charles II, beginning with his declaration of Breda along with Parliament's reception of it. The manuscript also records the appointment of a committee to consider the King's letters and declaration and to prepare bills accordingly; another committee to report on what acts or orders have been passed inconsistent with the government by the King; a resolution for ministers of London and Westminster to give thanks to God for the King's return to the throne; and naming of messengers from the House with the answer to the King's letters. Other entries record the pursuits and trials of regicides such as John Phelps and Sir Henry Mildmay; election disputes; and a list of wages due to ships of the Royal Navy, along with their numbers of men and guns.
