The remainder of the volume contains individual accounts for Lawrence's patients, recording charges for visits, medication, and treatments, which include bleeding, purges, inoculations, and the dressing of wounds. Doctor Lawrence's patients include: Jacob Mott, Capt. Solomon Townsend, Matthew Bowne, Capt. James Brewster, Peter Deall, White Matlack, William Matthews, Stephen Coles, and many others. Receipt book records payments by Lawrence, Ellison & Co., chiefly for purchases of wood and molasses, as well as payments made by Lawrence for personal expenses such as rent and taxes. The final portion of the volume additonally contains receipts, 1823-1835, for purchases of household goods by William and Sarah Deall, widow of Samuel Deall of Rye, New York.
