The papers also include materials relating to the activities of Kent's wife, Elizabeth Thacher Kent, Mrs. Kent's family, and the Kent children and grandchildren. Papers of Elizabeth Thacher Kent document her interests in women's suffrage, the Equal Rights Amendment, and international peace and her participation in the National Woman's Party and the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom.
