Acknowledging the Captain's letter referring to his work in connection with the fortification of that city, and commanding him to carry out the necessary work, with the cooperation of Juan Vazguez Coronado. She promises to attend the matter of his salary, and to the enquiry that was to held in regard to Valencia de Benavide's responsibility, or blamelessness, in connection with the fortress.
