Several publicity items and short bios of Schulte. Several letters from the Veterans Administration in Hines, Ill re: Schulte's claims. One signed letter, 1936, from Kent Keller notifying Schulte that the Bill for "immediate payment of Adjusted Service is now law." Sixteen letters from congressman giving response to Schulte's letters. Many are short form responses. Some give their views such as Arthur Capper of Kansas who states he is not sure he can support the kind of legislation Schulte is in favor of and William Lemke of N. Dakota who states "this nation ought to take care of all disabled people ... it is not their fault they are disabled." Letter, 1936, from James Farley, President of the Democratic National Committee, suggesting that Schulte could be a speaker for the party and sends a questionnaire for him to fill out. Letter, 1936, from John Hamilton president of the Republican National Committee advising him that his name has been given to the Director of the Speaker's Division in case his services are needed. One letter from Chicago Tribune columnist Herma Clark, with her publicity pamphlet, discussing "the story of Francis Arnold Hoffman" and story telling.
