Deeds relating to the Temple family lands in Buckinghamshire, Cornwall, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire, and Yorkshire. Included are the volume compiled by Peter Temple about 1560 that contains copies of "evidences" concerning lands in Burton Dassett, Warwickshire and a "A breviat of leases" made by Sir Thomas Temple, 1st Bart. (1567-1637), in 1619-1635.

Title: A roll of jurors listed by Hundreds for Warwickshire, England [manuscript], begun in 1572.

Mention of a Thomas Shakespeare on leaf 5v and of a Thomas and John Shakespeare on leaf 29v. The book seems to have been compiled at Burton Dassett. Followed by Richard Woodward's "names of certain of my dear friends upon whom certain of the freeholders do depend," with remarks on their fitness and suitability. Many listed in connection with a Peter and John Temple. At the back, "the names of those that depend and are at the devotion ... of Sir Anthony Coke, etc." Certain references, e.g. to Clement Throckmorton, as his good friend suggest that these may be names of people in the Throckmorton interest. Accompanied by a letter from A.E. Stamp to Mr. Marcham, May 6, 1922.
