In a letter, 1826 January 1, Peter Barlow writes to Charles Bonnycastle, that a fire has destroyed part of Bonnycastle's order. In a letter, 1855 February 19, Septimia Meikleham writes to Lemuel G. Olmstead that all the Jefferson letters from Joel Barlow were at the Dept. of State and that Congress employed Henry A. Washington to select almong them for publication. In a letter, 1855 March 2, Henry A. Washington informs Olmstead that the Jefferson-Barlow correspondence is at the Roll Office in Washington.
