The collection consists of primarily of lobby cards, posters, and promotional fliers, relating to western films made from 1916 to the 1980s. There are also some pressbooks and photographs in the collection. Represented within the collection are works by notable directors, such as John Ford, Howard Hawks, Allan Dwan, Henry King, Billy Wilder, Roman Polanski, William S. Hart, Sergio Leone, André de Toth, Nicholas Ray, Raoul Walsh, Anthony Mann, and Sam Peckinpah. Also represented are works featuring notable western stars, such as William S. Hart, William Boyd as Hopalong Cassidy, Gene Autry, Roy Rogers, Buck Jones, and Harry Carey, among others. Highlights include original posters for Stagecoach (1939), directed by John Ford, and the original poster for the Italian release of Per qualche dollaro in più (For a Few Dollars More) (1965).

The Lothar and Eva Just Film Stills Collection at the Harvard Film Archive consists of approximately 800,000 film stills, pressbooks, posters, and other cinema-related ephemera originally amassed by Lothar Just, a Munich-based film publicist. Just's expansive collection began in the gathering of image and source material for the annual film lexicons, the Heyne Filmlexikon and Filmjahrbuch, which he continues to publish.

Summary: Collection consists primarily of images from motion pictures that were filmed in New Mexico. Includes images from the following motion pictures: A Day in Santa Fe, Way Out West, Greasers Palace, King of Kings, Leave It to Charlie, Local Color, The Tourist, Convoy, Santa Fe Trail, The Pueblo Legend, Rattlesnake, The Search, The Tall Texan, Jack Johnson vs. Joe Flynn, A Trip to Santa Fe, Vanishing American, The Advancement, The Ballad of Cable Hogue, and Santa Fe and Albuquerque, 1914. Also within the collection are images of New Mexico movie theaters, various actors and actresses, as well as director Sam Peckinpah, actors John Wayne, Ronald Reagan, and Jason Robards, and actresses Rita Hayworth and Stella Stevens. One image of a group of prominent New Mexicans such as L. Bradford Prince, Thomas B. Catron, and Amado Chaves is also in the collection.

Photographs of actors, scenes and sets from various movies, most filmed in Arizona. The largest part of the collection is taken of the filming of the movie "Arizona" including set construction, views behind-the-scenes, cameras, stage sets, equipment, and movie scenes. There are photographs of Jean Arthur, William Holden, and Lionel Banks. The premiere was attended by Hedda Hopper, Rita Hayworth, Melvyn Douglas, Fay Wray, Clarence Buddington Kelland, and many others. There are also photographs of the filming of "Junior Bonner," "The Gay Desperado," "The Three Musketeers," and "Rio Lobo", and others. The "Gay Desperado" scenes include views of a Tucson street, possibly Meyer Avenue. Scenes from "Junior Bonner" include Prescott streets, Steve McQueen, Ida Lupino, Sam Peckinpah, and Robert Preston. Photographs from Earl Haley include images of Navajo Indian actors, Harry Truman, Gov. Howard Pyle, and director Howard Hawks.
