Lewis Van Syckle Fitz Randolph (1838-1920) was an American businessman and financier.His papers consist of correspondence and legal papers generated by Randolph as executor and trustee of the Samuel J. Tilden estate and of the Tilden Trust Corporation. Correspondence, mainly between Randolph and other Tilden trustees, attorneys, and New York City officials, concerns the establishment of a monument to Tilden in New York and other estate matters. Legal papers include copies of petitions, orders, court decrees and judgments, last will and testament of Tilden, and balance sheet, 1895, of Tilden estate. Also, biographical information about Randolph.
