(8), January 21, 1829, concerns Kean's contract with Covent Garden theatre from which he was given leave until 1831 to prepare new roles. On the back is a sworn statement that this was exhibited in the Chancery suit of Kemble and others vs. Kean. J.P. Collier has identified the signature of (27).

The collection contains three letters and one poem. Landon writes in 1830 to T. Rogers enclosing book reviews, thanking him for theater tickets and asking him for some for friends; on 28 May 1836 to Thomas Moore about her 1836 version of Fisher's Drawing room scrap-book [with accompanying typed transcript]; undated, to William Mudford presenting a copy of her book, The Troubadour, published in 1825. Includes a minor poem, "Immolation of an Indian widow," published as "A Suttee."
