Marie Railway Company, of which he was president (1924-1937); bank mergers in Minnesota and North and South Dakota; his organization (1920s) of the Agricultural Credit Corporation to lend money to rural banks and farmers; and his interests in hunting and sports.

Paper, linen, and blueprint drawings of all aspects of bridge construction and reconstruction, including proposals, cross sections, piers, masonry, elevations, abutments, spans, trusses, electrical, girders, railings, retaining walls, and bents. The materials document many of St. Paul's bridges, with particularly large runs for the Fort Snelling, Lafayette, Minnehaha Street, Sixth Street, and Wabasha Street bridges. There are also two maps detailing all the city's bridges in January 2002.

Records related to a Minneapolis-based manufacturer of farm tractors and implements and to several predecessor, related, and successor companies, including the Minneapolis Threshing Machine Company, the Minneapolis Steel and Machinery Company, B.F. Avery & Sons Co., the Moline Plow Company, and the White Motor Corporation. The collection includes correspondence and subject files, printed materials (sales brochures, product catalogs, price lists, and annual reports), clippings, patent information, corporate newsletters, some public relations department files, films, photographs, and tractor schematics. Advertising material includes work produced by Argentine illustrator and painter Florencio Molina Campos. Most of the collection came either from the office of public relations director William W. Lundell or from his personal collection of Minneapolis-Moline materials. The films in this collection date from the 1950s to around 1966. The bulk of the films are related to farming or feature Minneapolis-Moline farming equipment, but some include footage from banquets, magic shows, and contests.
