Chiefly records of Thomas Wigglesworth, successor to Sawyer and Wigglesworth, dealing in importing, exporting, handling of bills of exchange and insurance, and general commission business. Volumes include blotters, 1806-1810 and 1815-1822; letter books, 1806-1816 and 1819-1823; distribution record, 1823-1835; and invoice record, 1824-1847. Earlier records, 1758-1765, relate to the firm of Townsend and Wigglesworth of which Edward Wigglesworth was a partner. Include two daybooks and one ledger.
