A letter from Fremont Older discusses being tied up in the investigation of "crooks," a corruption case involving Francis Joseph Henry, William J. Burns, Theodore Roosevelt, James D. Phelan and Rudolph Spreckels. Letters to and from E. J. St. John discusses Hermann Hille's medical work, great scientific discovery and financial independence; an introduction to the [William?] Hards during a planned trip to Chicago; and his own desire to inform the public about medical advances in the "Delineator." Cornelia Bryce Pinchot writes about his position at Collier's Weekly and her wish to have her own magazine some day. Correspondents include William Stone Booth, Mitchell Kennerley, Fremont Older, Cornelia Elizabeth Bryce Pinchot, and [E. J.?] St. John.
