Manuscript, in multiple hands, of carbon copies of letters concerning theater management. In addition to letters which contain requests and receipts for payments, building rental information, and decorating discussions, one letter addressed to "H. Harris, Esqr, Theatre Royal Dublin" declares, "With respect to the 'Adelphi' ship I can only say that tho I invented the scene it's execution never pleased me; this in a great measure was owing to a want of Talent in the Artists we then had employed, and in a greater degree to the want of room; the capabilitys of the Dublin Stage will of course remedy all this...if you can get over the difficulty of detatching the shaking sea from the Vessel, that it will be prodigiously effective." Cooke's correspondents include Charles Grimes, William Henry Murray, and Frederick Henry Yates.
