Records include accounts for the Memorial Window Fund, 1905-1909, and various other funds; regents exams, 1910-1940's; President's reports, 1938-1967; programs and invitations for the Centennial, 1945, the Diamond Jubilee, 1928, and the 75th Anniversary, 1920; Trustees' minutes, 1844-1984; Board of Directors' minutes, 1911-1953; student notebooks, 1901-1906; student essays; journal of Harriet L. Packer, 1854, describing her trip to Europe (includes a letter to Althea Packer, 1839); and a letter from Henry James, 1905, to Elizabeth Luther Carey (his first biographer) arranging for a lecture he was to deliver at Packer, with two cabinet photos of James (one taken in Carey's backyard, the other a portrait). Also included are miscellaneous bankbooks, scrapbooks, advertisements for Packer, correspondence and memos, reports, school songs, histories of the school, programs, invitations, brochures, student and faculty handbooks, building specifications and blueprints, diplomas, textbooks, two plaques with spelling examples (probably mid-nineteenth century), flags, banners, and Mrs. Packer's dress.

Photographs organized by such subjects as athletics, Brooklyn Female Academy, buildings, Christmas Pageant, Class Day, Commencement, clubs and organizations, dramatics, May Day, reunions, people, and other school-related events and scenes. Class albums contain cabinet card and carte de visite portraits of graduates, classes ca.1860-1894. Some miscellaneous photos and negatives include classroom views, portraits, and Mrs. Packer in her home, 1891-1892.
