Composers include William Byrd, Alfonso Ferrabosco the Elder, Orlande de Lassus, Edward Blankes, Claudio Merulo, Christopher Tye and Matthew Jeffries. Also, original vellum wrapper consists of non-music medieval manuscript fragments.
