The officer is to be sent or escorted to Washington as he has "agreable intelligence." -- Autograph from a fragment of a printed document. Washington signs as President of the United States, along with Edmund Randolph, Secretary of State, and Nathaniel F. Fosdick, collector of Portland & Falmouth.
