Contains records created, received, and transmitted by deans, presidents, the Board of Trustees, the Board of Overseers, and the Faculty Council of Parsons The New School for Design. Consists of correspondence, financial records, minutes, proposals, reports, and subject files. Documentation from the offices of presidents and deans primarily covers the mid-1960s onwards. Includes records of Francis A. Ruzicka (President, 1963-1969), David C. Levy (Dean, 1970-1989), Charles S. Olton (Dean, 1989-1997), Lesley Cadman (Vice Dean, 1981-2007), and Vieri Salvadori (Associate Dean, 1975-1983). Presidents prior to Ruzicka are represented in a separate series of small accessions. The position of president was eliminated when Parsons became affiliated with the New School in 1970.
