Enfeoffment by Robert Holt of Bury St. Edmunds and John Holt of Cokfyld, gentleman, to John Gryffyth, clerk, of 1 piece of arable land containing approximately 1 acre lying in the parish of Fornham St. Martin (Suff.) bounded by the land of the manor of Fornham aforesaid, lately in the occupation of Alice Maryett, now in that of John Boldero, to the west, land of the same manor in the occupation of Isabelle Coggsale to the east, abuting on the land of the chapel of St. Nicholas to the south and on "Pedders Waye" to the north; which acre of land lately belonged to Robert Barrett of Bury aforesaid; and Christopher Payton, esq., and Thomas Badby, gentleman, were lately seised of it to the use of the grantors and of the heirs of Robert, of the gift of John Eyer, esq., and of the said John Holt, by charter dated 27 July 38 Henry VIII; with appointment by the grantors of Thomas Andrew and John Boldero their attornesy to deliver seisin. Given on 26 September, 2 Edward VI.

Grant by Thomas Lucas of Little Saxham (Suff.),esquire, to John Griffyth, clerk, for the sum of £3.13.4 of 2 acres of land in Fornham St. Martin (Suff.) on the north side of the rectory of Fornham aforesaid, between the lands of Henry Hornyngold (formerly Wyldwote) on the south, and the land of the recently dissoved monastery of St. Edmund de Burg, now in the tenure of Thomas Baker, to the north, and abutting to the west on the land of the aforesaid Thomas Baker and to the east on the King's Highway leading from Fornham aforsaid to Brandon Ferry; with appointment of Thomas Andrewe of Burg St. Edmunds and John Boldyro of Fornham St. Martin his attorneys to deliver seisin. Given on the 18th Oct., 2 Edward VI.
