Corbett; Ladd, Reed, & Co.; and other businesses in northwestern Oregon and California. Also includes fishery accounts; real estate records of Cathlamet; estate papers of James A. Scarborough; and guardianship records of Edwin and Robert Scarborough. Correspondence with Allan, Lowe & Co. of San Francisco provides details of shipping and trade between that city and the western Columbia River area in the 1850s.
