Indentures include those between Richard Bohun Baker (1736-1783) and Amarinthea Elliott (sister of Elizabeth Elliott Baker), Elihu Baker, and others, and an indenture (1778) between Henry Middleton and the vestrymen of St. James Goose Creek Parish regarding a tract of land (includes plat). Bonds are those of Richard Bohun Baker with Mary Guerin and others. There is also a deed of gift (1761) of a slave from Elihu Baker to his daughter Sarah Baker. A land grant (1683) confers ownership of two hundred acres along the Ashley River (S.C.) to Richard Baker (d. 1698).
