Collection includes a letter, sermons, copy (1766) of the marriage register (Southampton) of Paul Turquand and Mary Easom signed by the minister who performed the ceremony, a biography of Paul Turquand, and genealogical information about the Turquand and related families. Letter (1755) to Paul Turquand in South Carolina from Pasteur Bourdillon advises Turquand to return to England and be ordained as an Episcopal minister. Two handwritten sermons (n.d., 1786) concern discontent and death. Handwritten biographical sketch (n.d.) is entitled "Rev. Paul Turquand." Typescript (3 p.) genealogical information (1929) compiled by Susan Smythe Bennett (a descendant of Paul Turquand) concerns the Turquand records. A typescript (carbon) biography of Jean Baptiste Morin, was taken from the Biographie Universelle, Ancienne et Moderne, Paris 1821. A typescript entitled "Paul Turquand. Genealogy." contains information about Turquand and other related individuals compiled by David J. McCord.
