Boyer, Jimmy Carter, Ramsey Clark, Elizabeth Dole, David Lewis, James Farmer, Frank Hereford, Jesse Jackson, Léon Krier, Dumas Malone, Robert M. O'Neil, Walter D. Pilkey, Ronald Reagan, Vincent Shea, M. Rick Turner, and John Warner. Topics include University of Virginia history particularly the 150th anniversary symposium in 1986, as well as a memorial to Dumas Malone, the Life Sciences Laboratory dedication, the budget, enrollment, employees, the physical plant, and a Martin Luther King, Jr., commemoration. A press release [1936] "Law Faculty Challenged" describes dissent among University of Virginia faculty members over President Franklin D. Roosevelt's plan to "pack" the Supreme Court. Political Science Faculty members Robert K. Gooch, Rowland Egger, James Hart, George W. Spicer, Raymond Uhl and Vincent Shea [with reservations] supported Roosevelt's plan which was apparently opposed by the law faculty.

Of interest is a report on damage caused to Philadelphia hotel rooms after the 1947 Penn/Virginia football game. The collection also contains some correspondence of the Dean of Students Committee, 1949, chaired by H.M. Hite. Dean Ivey Foreman Lewis, Bursar Vincent Shea and president Colgate Darden are also correspondents.
