The certificates of naturalization contain the name of the applicant, the country of origin, and the date of American citizenship. The certificate form was changed in 1888 and again in 1890. Names of witnesses appear intermittently before 1890, and regularly thereafter. Included in these bound volumes are some blank forms. This series is indexed by the Index to Citizens Naturalized.
