The collection consists of a bond for $10,000 pledged by Edmund Roberts, John Eppinger, and Jeremiah Cuyler (d. 1839) to Governor David B. Mitchell for performance of Roberts as Clerk of the Court of Ordinary in Chatham County, Georgia. It is signed by Roberts, Eppinger, and Cuyler and witnessed by Thomas Charlton (1779-1835).
