Peterson, Dan Dougherty, Gibson Peacock, L.A. Godey, Charles S. Pancoast, James Milliken, Geo. Cadwalader, J.G. Fell, Geo. F. Tyler, Edw. S. Clarke, James L. Cleghorne, Lindley Smyth, and C.J. Stillé. Printed poems satirizing the club members include "The 'Town and Country Club'," by X, Newport, August 1875 (identified on verso as C.J. Peterson); "Tardy George" [by George H. Boker]; nine stanzas of "Monody on Certain Members of the 'Press Club'" [by Charles J. Peterson]; "Dirge for a Soldier," by George H. Boker; "Blue Seal," by Charles J. Peterson, 31 January 1866; "Our Club," by C.J. Peterson, 25 March 1873; and "Dear 'Our Club'," by Geo. H. Boker, 24 June 1873. Also includes Morton McMichael, Jr., letter, 15 February 1879, to C.J. Peterson, "Our Club," thanking them for "the most elegant and earnest tribute" to his father's memory, and an unattributed manuscript poem, "To Fanny."
