Account book, 1811-1839, kept by blacksmith and wheelwright David Richardson of Fallsington, Pennsylvania, recording accounts for making and repairing wheels, wagons, sleds, plows, tools, hardware, etc., as well as money owed him for hauling and farmwork and occasional purchases and sales of wheat and livestock. Individual accounts are followed by daily entries recording days worked and money recieved. Included are accounts with Samuel L. Booz, Joseph Burton, James P. Morris, John Parsons, Alexander Quintin, Mahlon Williamson, Samuel Wright, et al.

Terry family papers, 1795-1939

Title: Terry family papers 1795-1939

Papers of five family members, the children and daughter-in-law of Alfred and Clarissa Terry, make up the major part of the collection. The most prominent figure is Alfred Howe Terry, a Civil War general in the Union army, whose correspondence and military papers relate to the Fitz-John Porter case, the Indian campaigns (1870s) and reminiscences of military service and the Civil War. Included are orders for the court martial of General Custer and drawings supposedly given to Terry by Sitting Bull. Other family members include his brother, Adrian, who also served in the Civil War, and Adrian's wife, Isadore Wright Terry, whose correspondence includes letters from her husband during the war describing his experiences.

Farmer, freight hauler, laborer, cider-maker, landlord, and town official who was a seventh-generation descendant of Samuel Wright, one of the first English settlers of Northampton, Massachusetts. Nine bound volumes and four folders of loose material include accounts of his businesses with his brother Samuel and son Edwin and activities, as well as letters, and miscellaneous papers and figurings.
