Title: Anne Walker Garrard Scrapbooks, 1921-1998 (bulk 1921-1935).

Two scrapbooks by Gerrard, containing photographs, clippings, correspondence, telegrams, programs, brochures, and other materials. One documents her undergraduate life at Trinity College (1921-1925), particularly the activities of the football team and the Alpha Delta Pi chapter. Gerrard's other scrapbook documents post-graduation activities, including her teaching, travels, and social activities, but focusing on her activism in the Duke Alumni Association and the Alpha Delta Pi sorority. Some items from the scrapbooks have been foldered separately, including three essays by Gerrard, entitled "John Quincy Adams and the Independence Movement in Latin America" (n.d.); "Antebellum Days in Chapel Hill" (1929); and "The Platoon School" (1932); a painted black-and-white photograph labeled "(Aunt?) Mamie Feathers;" and a black-and-white photograph and program from Gerrard's memorial service (1998). (02-154).

Information about individual chapters is limited primarily to clippings, invitations, etc. related to the May 1959 chartering celebration. Two scrapbooks are included - one documenting the history of the Panhellenic Council and the other the opening of the Panhellenic Lodges in 1972.
