Aines, Andrew A., 1913-1996

Andrew Adolphe Aines was a information scientist, director, and soldier. He was born in 1913. His field of work included information science, information management, and public policy. He was a member of Association for Information Science and Technology. He worked for the Office of Scientific and Technical Information, for National Science Foundation, the Office of Science and Technology Policy, and the National Library of Medicine. He also served in the United States Army. He died on September 1, 1996, and was buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
