Biographical History
The Historical Society of Princeton is a private, non-profit organization that was founded in 1938 in Princeton, New Jersey. In 1967, the Historical Society established its headquarters across from Princeton University, on Nassau Street, in Bainbridge House, which is one of the finest surviving examples of Georgian architecture in the area, and since that time the building has served the public as both a museum and library. Rudolph A. Clemen was president of the Society.
