Biographical History

In 1987 an exhibition was held at the Watermans Art Centre, London, to mark the 50th Anniversary of Mass Observation. School children visited the exhibition and recorded their impressions.

From the guide to the Children's impressions of the MOA exhibition, 1987, 1987, (University of Sussex Library)

Since 1981, in parallel with the Mass-Observation Project (see SxMOA 2), the Mass-Observation Archive has collected personal papers donated by individuals, including diaries, letters, photograph albums, scrap books, autobiographies and other personal and family documentation.

From the guide to the Personal collections, 1907-[ongoing], (University of Sussex Library)
